and then it hit me

After my last night playing music w/ my monday night old-time music group I sent them the e-mail below
Jules, Kate, Teresa & Charlie,
I was up early this morning walking around a quiet house and it started sinking in. I'm really going to miss you. The monday night music thing has been really great.I don't want to beat it to death, I'm horrible at good byes... I could have just as well gone outside to piss and got in my car and left.
this whole trip preparation has been focused on where we are going and this morning i got whamed with what we are leaving...at any rate I deeply value the hours and tunes I've share w/ you... you know its been good when its tough to say good-bye.
